UFO spies on Russian protesters at 12:19 AM

Yahoo! News reported that an unidentified flying object was seen hovering over Bolotnaya Square in Moscow, Russia. Witnesses described the UFO as "having five extended tendrils and pylons emanating from the body of the structure" and "reflecting blue and red lights".

Vitaliy Matveev, who writes for the Russian Television website, disputes theories that the UFO is an extraterrestrial spacecraft and suggests that it is a news camera or a spy drone. Check out the photograph of the UFO below.

A Real UFO Hunter at 9:04 PM

LiveScience reported today that a hunter from Western Nevada USA recently captured an unidentified flying object.

The hunter, Robert Pitzer, later identified the UFO as a high altitude balloon platform used by JP Aerospace for space experiments. Pitzer said that he was out hunting when the UFO descended on him. He took pictures of the UFO as it hovered above him...whereupon he decided to tie it to a rock. That's when he noticed the JP Aerospace sticker identifying the UFO's owner.

Yahoo! Sports reports that a group of unidentified flying objects were seen while another football game was in progress. This time, it was a high school football game in Scottsdale, Arizona. The objects are similar to the triangular UFOs seen last year in New York and Texas. Check out the videos below:

AOL News reports that an unidentified flying object was caught on camera during a National League Football (NFL) game between the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts last October 23. The UFO was described as a rod-shaped object as seen in the pictures and video below.





Skeptics theorized that the rod might merely be an insect that flew in front of the camera. However; they have not, as yet, accounted for the fact that the rod is seen flying behind the church spire in the distance.

UFO in the UK...another hoax? at 11:07 PM

The Daily Mail reports that an unidentified flying object was witnessed in the Essex-Hertfordshire border. The witness, a 36-year old who identified himself as "alvinol", reportedly captured the UFO on video and posted it to YouTube last July 29 as seen below:



The video is widely considered a hoax although a BBC reporter claimed to have seen a similar UFO in the same location five days later. The UFO was seen at about 4:15 in the morning and was described as a large disc surrounded by lights. The reporter witnessed the UFO for three minutes before it disappeared.

UFO documents released in the UK at 3:07 AM

Reuters reports that the British Ministry of Defence (MoD) recently released documents regarding unidentified flying objects. The documents are nearly 9,000 pages long and chronicle UFO sightings from 1985 to 2007. This is the eighth set of UFO documents that the MoD released to the National Archive. They are available for viewing online for a month free of charge beginning August 11, 2011.


The documents include; among other things; a sighting of a large, silent object with a bright orange light in 2002, a report of men in black encountered in 2003 and a photograph of a "flying saucer" taken in 2004. The documents also include a memo suggesting that British Prime Minister Winston Churchill showed an interest in a 1952 UFO sighting in Washington.

Update: Underwater UFO at 12:11 AM

The International Business Times reports of new developments regarding the mysterious object found beneath the ocean near Sweden. As earlier reported, the "UFO" was found by the Swedish company Ocean Explorer led by businessman Peter Lindberg.


Although Lindberg stated that he had no interest in exploring the underwater object, he and his team speculate that it might have been a building that was built during the ice age. They say that the "partially destroyed" structure might have had a lower entrance level with a "honeycomb" center.

Ocean Explorer is currently conducting a fundraiser in hopes that others might make a further study of the object. "Original polo shirt from Ocean Explorer Team" are on sale on their website via PayPal.
