Eerie light over Lake Erie

(March 13, 2010) The Week today reported that a strange pulsating light has been sighted by residents of Lake Erie for the past eight days. They described the light as unlike that of an aircraft or a helicopter and appears in the sky between 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM and stays for about two hours before disappearing. NASA's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland and the Pentagon stated they they weren't performing any tests that would account for the Lake Erie light. The Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) said that the light was different from those of commercial aircraft describing it as shifting in color. However, the FAA has as yet recieved no report of anything unusual from air traffic controllers.

Cleveland has been said to have had a long history of UFO activity. In 2008 alone, there had been 29 sightings in the area.
