examiner is reporting that an unidentified flying object was seen over New Jersey last June 29. A witness described the UFO as "a cone or bell-shaped object with a dark body and bright, red lights emanating from all sides". It was said to be moving east to west "flying under 1,500 feet".
The witness initially thought the UFO was a helicopter but later described it as resembling a "World War II Marine mine". No photographs or videos were taken of the UFO nor was any town name given as to the location of the sighting. The witness did mention the ocean as being south of his location. He characterized his experience as "surreal".
