Standart News is reporting that unidentified flying objects were witnessed over Boyana, a neighborhood in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia. They were caught on video by a witness named Assen Yovov which was broadcast on Bulgarian National Television.
According to Yovov, the UFOs were seen at about half past ten and were described as "large discs as bright-red as fire". He said they made no sound as they moved eastward.
Comments on the social networking website Facebook mentioned the incident as they poked fun at Bulgraian politician Ahmed Dogan saying he called on extraterrestrials to support his election campaign.
